My name is Pasquale Mongiello. I was born on September 21, 1928 in Cassano Irpino (Av), like my father Giuseppe. Cassano Irpino is a small rural centre with 1.075 inhabitants whose origins date back to the Romans, facing the ample Calore plain from atop a smooth hill framed by the groups of Terminio and Cervialto, as described by Gennaro Granata. I stayed there with my grandparents while my parents and my sister Fausta moved to Taurasi, where my brother Gerardo, my sister Maria and finally my brother Bartolo, were born.
Taurasi, my mother's hometown. Taurasi, land of the wine, as you can read on many signs in the whereabouts. The Taurasi is a ruby red wine, strong and delicate at the same time.
On February 24th, 1949, just after World War II, my father wisely advised me to join the Guardia Di Finanza. I spent 21 years in its ranks, and thanks to it I can now proudly manage  because of the lessons I was taught throughout this period. That experience truly made a man of the child I was.
Nowadays I am an ex employee of the Guardia Di Finanza, and I manage fulltime. My product is truly "the world's only disposable mini-toothbrush", as I was taught in the many English courses I attended, and for this I now enter the world of international trading - for the international nature of my product.
The enterprise activity dates back to November 11th, 1976 in via Adige 32 in Certosa di S.Donato Milanese (Mi). Since then, I entered small-scale enterprise as , which is made in Italy, actually in Monterotondo (Rm), then spread in the world.
The English magazine "Just Seventeen" starts its cover page with an insert such as "Marvelling at the breath-fresheningly clever boys who invented this toothbrush dispenser, etc.. etc.." advising young people to use the disposable mini-toothbrush when having a meal out of home. Even "Manchester Evening News" has an opening line such as "Something to smile about a new problem has hit my favourite restaurants, particulary those of the Italian variety, etc.. etc.."
These are my achievements, completely rewarding the many sacrifices made in order to gain such a wide distribution in many foreign countries. Today, I’m able to realize my true dream, which is to export or produce for the North American market after receiving from the Department of Health and Human Services the PUBLIC INITIAL FOOD AND DRUG ADMINISTRATION DEVICE LISTING 1, Document N° A884394 of May 1997, PROVIDENCE NJ 07974 12 OWNER/OPERATOR I.D. PRESIDENT.
North-American market is too big for a small artisan; more than ever, I am certain of a positive outcome.
These are the facts. However, a man in his seventies is still satisfied at conceiving the beauty of a fictitous but possible dream projected in the future. That man is me.
